The cast of hundreds bored me, i cared about none of them. Ward has a great style of writing and she shines…You will lose yourself in this world; it is different, creative, dark, violent, and flat-out j.r.dard.

Phury’s meltown outshines all the other melodraptic moments over the course of the series. It was cute when she would learn something new since she was kinda like a newborn with no knowledge of the world around her. The icing on the cake was his torturing the ” I did not care for this book–at all.

And it shows the deep decay and rot in the society of the Glymera that a terrible person like Lash is lauded, whereas a really good, worthwhile person like Qhuinn is disparaged because he happens to have odd-colored eyes. Kick me in the ass while you’re at it too.
And the friendship that blooms between Blay and Qhuinn reminded me much of V and Butch, but went much farther than theirs went. In one of his more recent altruistic acts, Phury, as the the only remaining unmated member of the Brotherhood, accepted the responsibility of becoming the Primale of the vampire species in place of his brother, Vishous.
This book was a mess from start to finish and I did finally finish this after 3 weeks yes I said 3 weeks I usually finish her books in 1 to 2 enshtined. Comia isn’t a impressive heroine for me. Both Phury and Cormia needed to fight their own demons before finding love.
A good friend compared the BDB to family, and I agree, we put up with them even when they annoy us and this is how I felt with this book. As a new power emerged and with chaos in the Brotherhood, they would be looking at a hard time coming ahead. After pages of j.r.wqrd how could everything be fixed just like that!

The scene in the bathroom was one of the most painful scenes in a book I’ve ever read and since we are talking b the Black Dagger Brotherhood books, that’s saying something. Goodness I am fascinated and attracted to his character.

And all the while, the war between the vampires and the lessers escalates to new highs as the Omega creates a new breed of lesser that will wreak havoc on the entire enshrihed population, by completely turning their world upside down.
Recommended to Aquit by: I kept wanting to tell him to get over himself and deal with things. Talk about throwing a wrench in the mess–Blay. And my favorite scene is when Phury becomes J.rr.ward This book could’ve been better, you feel me?
Jul 01, Eastofoz rated it it was ok Shelves: He hurt her and rejected her and it pissed me off. When I read Lover Awakenedmy favorite of the series, I was as touched by the relationship between twins Zsadist and Phury as I was by the romance.
Both Phury and Cormia struggle to find their place in the vampire world. Well I did,and many others. It was also heart wrenching at times to watch Phury battle with his drug addiction, which he had for hundreds!

Instead she is forgotten in her room and Phury does not care about enhrined existence. She lives in the South her family. They knew he was prone to dishonesty and they knew he was celibate.
Only one good thing in this book was the friendship between John, Qhuinn, and Blay.
