I read the jacket and thought it sounded interesting. I really liked the characters and their relationships to each other, but the story seemed to drag This one wasn’t one of my favorites of JC’s. But this time Maddie decides she is not going to take it. You get two fantastic novels in one volume! A shock but sadly, not surprising. She just includes everything; mystery, romance, comedy and the right amout of sarcasm that’ll have you laughing out loud hoping you’ll at some point in your life get to use that exact same line.

Chapters 5 12 Nov 21, As it all falls apart around Maddie and she tries to put it together again, take care of her daughter, and choose who she wants to be whether it is something for herself or for the town she has always chosen for in tel, past. But Maddie tells her daughter that everything is fine.

Not because I didn’t like it. It did improve though and I found Maddie pretty tolerable by the end.

They are such a wonderful couple. I felt like the main character didn’t like her daughter much which could have been kinda interesting but that got taken away quickly to boring and usual dynamics.

Want to Read saving…. Having lived in Frog Point, Ohio her entire life, Maddie figured there was hardly a secret in town that she didn’t know.

Tell Me Lies is a hot book – it’s funny too — and loads of suspense.
