Edsentials took me some time for me to warm up to, but the upside is it makes it quite easy to find something you read earlier without having to page through the whole book. I love this book!

Though I really enjoy reading and rereading this book, I’m ultimately disappointed that the book is a collection of articles previously printed in a magazine, not surprising given “journalist” and “editor” were two essengials Chris Schwarz’s titles.

Mr Schwartz is a pretty funny writer as well. And figure out what specific planes you need in your shop. So I needed to add an entire new section on chipbreakers and rewrite lots of copy to reflect my new respect for the chipbreaker. An engaging and informative compilation. More time could be spent on the set up and use of wooden planes just afew mentions or the essentiaps and sharpening of moulding planes. There was a problem filtering reviews right now. I needed to revise the sections on sharpening to reflect new stones and honing guides that are now available.
