Flake seemed to cover it for her in this book. Regretfully I think Ms Astor isn’t good with foreign country research. Pages and pages of ‘radio silence’ and then a whirl wind of summing up what happened during that time, instead of writing it Ok, I will just confess, I didn’t like this book. This is very unlike me. Not the Marrying Kind. This book did not relate to the courtship of Jake and Josie gambls all, they had one date that was only 3 pages in the entire book. Item s unavailable for purchase. I’m hoping the third and final I think book in the series is a bit less grating and more enjoyable. Gamble on Engagement Series: As stated in my review of the Bridesmaid Lotto, the characters could have been developed better. It was hard to believe they were really so close and were at astr point where they might even be considering marriage after like 3 months?!? And by the waywhat happened to the -look like the Prince- guy? This book gets 3 stars because overall, I liked the story.

While I think royalty was portrayed very wrong, but I didn’t really expect anything anyway.

Great escapism into a lighthearted chick lit that is both funny and entertaining.
