Excellent book and one I’d recommend in a heartbeat to anyone interested in jazz. Also, although the book says it’s for pianists with minimal experience, I feel like an experienced pianist would get the most use out of the book, especially one who already knows all the major and minor ‘s in three or four note voicings and can read well.

There is little color in “third city”, and it just doesn’t fit nice in comping. This book is absolutely not an introduction to jazz voicing. This book is simple yet advanced at the same time. If you want to be able to voice chords like a pro, the ten bucks that this book costs will be perhaps the best money you have ever spent in your entire life. This is a short book filled with distilled wisdom, like a pure single malt.
