Its like the proverbial elephant and the blind men, with each subjective touch of the individual indicating a different reality, true to that individual but not necessarily to itself.

The live between father and daughter made me cry a number of times. I agree, there’s another side to every story and I haven’t read ssord from the enemy camp Benazir Bhutto, Asif Zardari, etc. She would go back and forth during the years of her life. It was an extremely interesting journey through the Bhutto family hist I picked it up from the shelf in the bookstore and decided to take a risk fatlma buy it since the comment on the cover said ”If there’s anyone born to write bhuhto story, it is Fatima Bhutto”.

If she focused more on the ‘memoir’ part rather than politics I probably would have given this a higher rating. I’m having trouble getting engaged with this book. I tried to keep in mind that she was personally involved in the story and that she may not be objective on the matter, but nonetheless, I couldn’t help being fascinated by her father’s and grandfhater’s for that matter vision of politics and the world in general.
