I think it is a shame though, that the Bourne character is quite flat and shows no real development.
Thanks for telling us about the problem. In the end it proved marginally enjoyable, but I have a problem with the overeager setups of many poor modern writers. His journey leads him down a path of brutal murder and destruction — from which there is no escape — in a yarn which is as explosive as anything that has gone before in the series.
