I loved the lore of the games and I enjoyed the writing style of this book, as well as the way the characters interact with one another, particularly how Death interacts with Azrael and Abaddon.

But when something is impossible–it’s impossible. Another plus is that you get to know the other notable characters in the Darksiders games, Abaddon, Azrael, and Lilith through a different perspective, such as a better example of Azraels abilities, why Abaddon has an eye patch, and a detailed description of Lilith’s lair.
It was dark and full of demons and other creepy things that I enjoy, tthe yet it also had bad-ass angels fighting alongside the Horsemen of the Apocalypse and somehow th For a novel based on a video game that I have never played, I actually abominatoon this quite a bit.

I would probably read another in this series if I find one, but I do know that I have already added the game itself to my wishlist so it seems fair to say that I liked this. They go around pissing off Heaven and Hell on the orders of the mysterious Charred Council.
