Looks coutuer the book has plenty of pictures for those of us who are visual learners with understandable explanations. My skills are not quite where they need to be to make the most of the book, but it will make sewkng excellent reference to have handy. It would be helpful to know more about looking at a fabric then creating a look that optimises its inherent qualities.
