There is a lot of action, violence, blood and dirt. I haven’t read a romance in a long time, and I enjoyed the setting and, well, the sex.

It’s sort of like a careless fanficcer in that way – lovty within an established universe and leaving stuff out because knowledge is assumed.

He was hurt and had a fever and was all hoped up on her weird alchemy shit. I got the impression that some research had been done, which is always nice. Meg and Will spend most of the book beat up and filthy again this felt authentically Medieval to me. If you’re not a fan, the myriad threads and required foreknowledge will likely leave you hanging.

Cartie, movies start out with a bang sometimes with great success like Gladiatorbut there was simply no groundwork at ALL in the first chapter here to give me any connection whatsoever to the people who were scrambling around with swords in the woods.

But Will is all alone. Meg is tough and resilient, a true heroine who both uses her handicap and overcomes it. Prince Of Thieves is a kind of a terrible movie. Other books in the series. Also, I hated Meg’s sister, and desperately wanted Dr.

Meg is a phenomenal woman and I really liked the way the author portrayed her within small town medieval life. But, in the interest of narrative pacing, I can see where Lofty would have left all that out.

I know carrif like Meg and it was gratifying to read a character who was so well developed. Her alchemical talents were the most interesting part about her and I was a little disappointed the intricacies didn’t get more attention.

The characters were very likable and they were well developed throughout the book. The hero and heroine have whag a bit of chemistry, which deepens into a lovely romance.

I didn’t bother to go more than a want chapters wats, so I don’t know if ther Pretty much as bad as the name suggests, but not quite in the usual way. Historical Romance; My Rating 4. And to make things worse, meg makes a fucking joke out of it!
