The final pastimes of the Lord, occurring in His last twenty-four years, are called madhya [middle] and antya [final]. There is no other object of mercy within the three worlds but us.

That is also a period of four months. Therefore I am praying to the Lord for His causeless mercy upon me. That was His regular practice. The maehya period, either lunar or solar, takes place during the rainy season. All glories to caitamrta Supreme Personality! That is my desire. This four-month period is known as Caturmasya. He then sent Him to Bengal to preach love of Godhead.
