May 13, Daron rated it it was amazing Shelves: As in, the illustrator seems more intent on drawing Gladstone’s cleavage than in developing an intriguing illustrative style – that kind of comics. The book does spin off into speculation about the internet and future technology at the end, which I don’t find in line with the rest of the book, but interesting nonetheless. There is no conspiracy. But I’ve watched journalists cover countless catastrophes, elections, political gridlock, moral panics, and several wars.
The earliest journalists, the scribes, worked for their masters and so had to toe the line.
