I guessed where the plot was going but it was worth it to keep reading, if for no other reason but to see if Doctor Moneybags was in on it or not. The plot was somewhat predictable, but I liked the characters in the book.

Laying out the problems with this book would amount to revealing the plotline, which I have promised myself not to do. The story is interesting as always, though I felt the plot was more obvious then his other books as from the first couple of chapters I already knew how everything was going to play out.

Other books in the series. Despite their different opinions on the deaths of these young professionals, Lou has the hots for Laurie, but timing is coik.

With a theme reminiscent of Comahere is Robin Cook at his disturbing, electrifying best. So, i I love a medical thriller. I really enjoyed the detective aspect to it. To date, he has explored issues such as organ donation, genetic engineering,fertility treatment, medical research funding, managed care, medical malpractice, drug research, drug pricing, specialty hospitals, stem cells, and organ transplantation.

I would not recommend this book to blindsigut friend. The book started off well blinsight turned out to be quite predictable in the end and moreover the quarrels between the lead characters were so repetitive and juvenile that it became irritating towards the end!

However, though I know I have read and enjoyed some of the Jack and Laurie series in the past, the description of this book did not seem familiar, and since it was labeled number one in the series, I thought a review read might refresh my mind.

Their findings reveal a shocking organ trade related to the corneal surgeries that were done at the Manhattan General Hospital. Blindsight is Robin Cook’s set up for Contagion. Awesome ending with some interesting twists. She did her best ,even worked on sunday even after being fired ,to resolve the mysteries It taste good for all mystery lovers. There is rash of supposed drug overdose deaths in NYC from well heeled folks which end up in the morgue and are autopsied by Laurie Montgomery. Like most of Cook’s other work, it is a medical thriller.

I entered the military only a I bought this book new when it was on clearance and it has been sitting on my bookshelf for 18 years or so.

Cook has been remarked to have an uncanny ability to anticipate national controversy.

Laurie herself isn’t exempt from critique, but since she’s a series regular, I believe I should read a couple more books before passing judgment.
