Living in a three dimensional world creates a bias that’s difficult to escape without the help of hallucinogenics, and to sit and read and look at the many beautiful pieces of art brought me right back to those hidden dimensions that typically lie just beyond our everyday perception. Elsewhere they are drinking Ayahuasca in colourful clothes coming from the wisdom they are getting. But I could never show them to people here. I was portraying the daily realities of people in the Amazon, how they sow and harvest, how they fish and celebrate their fiestas and so on.
