This new edition of the book reflects some of the most important statistical tools added since Stata 10, when the book was introduced. I was not at all familiar introdution writing ado-files, and even after reading this book am left wanting for more explanation. In addition to this book, I highly recommend reading Nicholas Cox’s series of articles published on “The Stata Journal.

Most of the books in the market do not devote sole attention to Stata programming as they also focus on substantive statistical issues. It is pprogramming great, step-by-step guide to approaching everyday problems.
